The drug companies claim they are raising prices because some of their patents will expire soon. However, it is convenient that they are doing so before the planned health insurance reforms go into effect. I recommend the following post: http://euandus3.wordpress.com/2009/11/16/drug-companies-as-feeding-machines/

I love talking about astigmatism. It is a big word that lots of people have and they believe it is some sort of big problem. The fact is, it isn't normally a problem. There are those cases which are problematic but most people have just a little bit. It is correctable with glasses and contact lenses. In fact the last few years have seen some awesome improvements in soft contact lenses that make them quite comparable with hard lenses.

Hello - I'd like to clarify that acai does not contain caffeine or any other caffeine like compounds such as those mentioned in the blog. In Brazil, acai is often mixed with guarana which is one of nature's more potent sources of caffeine and caffeine like compounds (Methylxanthines).

* Hope this helps!

Warmly,

ed nichols

Co-Founder
Sambazon
ed@sambazon.com (questions/comments)

You bet they do! And you don't have to pay employees to get them to work either (although that probably is the most effective way). Little things like remembering an employee's 2-month smoke-out date or providing maps of healthy eating options close to your office really can make a difference. Hold a healthy-cooking class during lunch one day.

For 101 tips on how to encourage employee wellness, check out my blog: http://iworkhealthy.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/employers-101-ways-to-healthy-employees-and-reduced-health-care-costs/

Many Americans use telemedicine to obtain hydrocodone containing products such as Lortab, Lorcet, Vicodin and other medications to treat chronic pain or anxiety. For chronic pain & anxiety patients without insurance telemedicine is often the only affordable way to obtain medications. Because prices for pain clinics, physiotherapy and visits to local physicians are often unaffordable for uninsured middle class US citizens it is no surprise that many buy their medications online.
If you ever went to a pain clinic you likely had to visit every month in order to receive your prescriptions. This findrxonline.com what Not only is the price of a consultation very steep (usually around $500 for initial and $250+ for follow ups) but then there is also the cost of expensive shots and medications. There are also many people who need surgery but who can’t afford it. For others who already had surgery and are still experiencing chronic pain there may not even be any solution besides ongoing pain management with strong pain medications.

Although many people think of heart disease as a man's problem, women can and do get heart disease. I was in the same misconception regarding the heart disease, but was made aware by a medical checkup campaign. In fact, heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States. It is also a leading cause of disability among women.
The most common cause of heart disease is narrowing or blockage of the coronary arteries, the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart itself. This is called coronary artery disease and happens slowly over time. It's the major reason people have heart attacks. Prevention is important: two-thirds of women who have a heart attack fail to make a full recovery.
The older a woman gets, the more likely she is to get heart disease. But women of all ages should be concerned about heart disease. All women can take steps to prevent it by practicing healthy lifestyle habits.

Actually, right now I am suffering from a blockage in the coronary artery and was once blocked up to 85%. I got the stent implantation which is a mesh like spring which is used to broaden the artery and hence restoring back the blood flow. You can see further information regarding stent operation from www.heartsite.com/html/stent.html. I got to know everything regarding my stent operation from this site. I was really unaware of such a blockage. I sometimes feel dizzy, restless, lazy , but thought that to be something related to mental ability, and hence never worried about it. Once I got my basic medical checkup at Elite health medical office in Los Angeles. The ECG report went to be something suspicious. So, they advised me to have further advance diagnosis to determine and assure regarding the problem in the heart. After my MRI , CT scan and other such scans it came to me as a shock that I was facing a problem of blockage. It was quite surprising to me, and as I was not aware of anything regarding this, I was really frightened. The doctors explained me every information regarding my health and its treatment, and suggested me to have stent operation. That was some dreadful days of my life, which I faced only because I was careless about my health. It was my luck that I somehow went for a basic checkup at elite health, but every woman out there may not be so lucky.

The Importance of ph Balance and Cancer
According to a current stream of research, the natural pH in the human body fluctuates, over a 24 hour period, between alkalosis and acidosis. If this oscillation did not occur, it would be impossible for the various biochemical processes in the body to take place and metabolism would grind to a halt. This ebb and flow in our pH is precisely what drives the engine of biological life. These are only small fluctuations around the point of equilibrium, but they are sufficient to create biochemical motion. Although it is generally accepted that pH is the inverse logarithm of the concentration of hydrogen ions, the concepts of this almost mathematical definition are virtually impossible to understand. What it really means is that pH tells us the quantity of hydrogen ions in a solution, and more specifically, for what concerns us here, in the human body. Hydrogen ions have a positive electric charge and there is a constant state of equilibrium between these and other hydroxide ions which have a negative charge. The result of this interplay is that the quantities of both in a solution will always remain constant (ionic result), because if one rises then the other must inevitably fall. When the number of hydrogen ions rises, the positive electrical charge will rise and the negative charge, in the form of OH or hydroxide ions, will fall. In such a case we say that we are in a state of acidosis, and in the opposite case, when the negative charges predominate, we would be in alkalosis. As we can easily deduce, the oscillation of these electrical charges creates an electromagnetic field, and this is the first moment in scientific medicine that such fields are mentioned. It is therefore (c’est pas pour rien que) that in physics, a magnetic field is defined as that place in space where electromagnetic forces occur and since Maxwell, the concepts of electrical charge and electromagnetic charge have been intertwined. So when we speak of pH, we are also speaking of electromagnetic fields. Every living biological system, be it an ant, a plant, or a bacterium, even a single cell, is therefore an electromagnetic field fluctuating between positive and negative charges, and owes its life to this motion. This motion can only be explained by the living organisms’ drive to escape a state of charge, be it negative or positive, to find repose, or in other words, electro-neutrality, but absence of charge would mean the end of biochemical motion, which would be the same as death. If we call that fruitless drive ‘life’ and the absence of that compulsion, ‘death’, then we could conclude that all organisms seek death. Following along these lines, we could define ‘life’ as the eternal quest for electro-neutrality or ‘death’. As it happens, the precise point of equilibrium is never found, so the organism ends up moving continuously from one state of charge to its opposite. In other words, it is like a scale of unbalanced equilibrium in which the organism is forced to make constant back and forth oscillations. As this fluctuation in pH continues over 24 hours, each oscillation must be not only of equal amplitude in each direction, but also of equal speed. As such, the system always leans either towards alkalosis or acidosis, in each case giving rise to different illnesses. Only by regulating this system, when it is in an altered state, can health be restored. Imbalances in this system are found in almost all human pathologies, even more so in adult and senescent life. Refensal works to regulate all possible imbalances in the body, thus contributing to the recovery of health.
More info and Clinical Cases: http://www.healthtotem.com/en/refensal/clinic.html
Best regards Luis Majo
